Alcoholism nearly destroyed my life. For 10 years, I couldn’t make it through a single day without being drunk. I’m not sure how I survived, but I’m thankful I did, because I now have purpose in my life.

Not only do I have a social support system to keep me grounded, but I’ve found a way to channel my energy into something beautiful rather than destructive. My work as a carpenter has been eye-opening and life-changing, and I hope that through RecoveringWorks I can inspire people to find work that fulfills their own passions.
